Grant Writing at SIGDOC 2022

Four Crow researchers, three women and one man, collaborate around a conference table with laptops open, discussing strategy and planning.
We work best when we collaborate on projects, and look forward to working with you.

Have you or your team been thinking about how grant funding would move a project forward? The Crow team has been successful winning grants, both smaller internal grants, and larger national grant offerings. We are excited to share what we’ve learned, and help you brainstorm and plan for your next project. In this 2.5 hour workshop we will:

  • Review the elements of grant writing
  • Discuss the university resources like pre-award and letters of support
  • Spend hand on time annotating a CFP and brainstorm your strategy
  • Share our tips for building infrastructure and collaborative writing
  • Dedicate time to questions, group discussion and planning

more than half of our time will be spent hands on, working with a CFP and planning your writing and submission strategy. We Encourage you to bring a CFP for a grant you are considering (or dreaming about.) We will also have a CFP that we can work on together, if you don’t have one in mind right now.

Please register for this workshop when you register for SIGDOC 2022, We look forward to seeing you. If you have questions please reach out Collaborate@writecrow.org or tag us on twitter @writecroworg
